ABOUT ANCHORSOL WALL SYSTEMS

While being absolutely affordable and a cost-effective investment for the safety of your construction project, all AnchorSOL Wall Systems are usable with minimum manpower and equipment, making it flexible in terms of allowing it to be constructed on lower bearing capacity soil as compared to conventional rigid reinforced concrete or other gravity type of retaining wall.

As a combination of the Reinforced Soil and Soil Anchoring techniques, the AnchorSOL Wall is a mechanically stabilized earth system which includes such main components as:

• Discrete Concrete Facing Panels

They are manufactured out of the durable precast concrete with strength capacity of 30Mpa. They are eye pleasing and flexible in use due to their vase shape. They prevent local raveling and deterioration by interlocking with each other while the horizontal joints are secured with elastomeric materials to accommodate vertical movement or differential settlement. Egression of the backfill materials is prevented by insertion of vertical and horizontal joints with foam materials or geotextile filter cloth.

• Reinforcing Elements

Hot-dipped galvanized carbon steel rods were used in production of the inextensible reinforcing elements. In order to prevent corrosion, they are being attached and secured to the vase-shaped facing panels via specially formed omega shaped anchorage lug embedment devices.

• Reinforced Soil Anchoring

Made out of discrete precast concrete blocks with an attachment to the reinforcing element via nuts and washers, the reinforced soil anchoring elements derives its resistance in the precast anchored concrete block. It makes possible to relax the critical associated with the selection of fill materials without loss of stability or serviceability.

• Reinforced Soil Fill

The selected backfill material consists of cohesion-less soil with internal frictional angle of not less than 36 degrees after compaction.
